Code of Conduct
The confidence of Syngenta’s stakeholders is critical to the continuing success of our business. We can only maintain their trust if we act – and are seen to act – in accordance with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Our Code of Conduct is a key part of our compliance framework. It demonstrates our commitment to build and maintain trust in Syngenta, and to integrate our business, social and environmental responsibilities in everything we do.
We refreshed the Code of Conduct in 2008 to communicate clearly our commitment to ethical, social and environmental responsibility. In 2009, all our employees will receive training on the Code, either online or through face-to-face meetings.
Every Syngenta employee is expected to know and understand the Code and apply it without exception. The Code covers the following areas:
- Law
|
- Business integrity
|
- Society
|
- Science, products and property rights
|
- People
|

rights.
Employees are encouraged to report suspected violations of the Code of
Conduct or other ethical concerns. See Compliance
helpline.
